Musings, streams of consciousness, random pretty things, and a general hodgepodge of useless information.

My Faves!
The Blogsicle
My best friend dating back to our nerdy high school days (wait, did those ever go away?) started her own blog awhile back and it is a fantastic and fresh read and always gets you thinking positively!

Eventing Nation
All things eventing. Aka hog heaven.. ahem horse heaven? Either way, it's informative and funny and it gets me through the long, event-less winter.

Sit the trot until you and the horse become one entity. See your distances. Be tough and brave and fit, and turn yourself into such an elite and athletic rider that you force yourselves onto the radar screens of those you need to reach.

If you find a good Thoroughbred off the track, they’re as good, or better, than anything you can find by going to Europe

LONG Jump.

That shouldn’t be allowed.  Eh hate this type of racing, just reminds me of the grand national and that’s not a good thing.  Horses always die and the cause is probably too many horses being on the track.  Just for people to get excited, sick.

Ok while I agree the GN should limit horses etc it is steeple chasing, while that jump looks long hes just going to go through the hedge. Check out timber racing….

I want a chaser
